COMPANY BACKGROUND

RITCO's genesis can be traced back to 1989 when it began its operations as a IATA approved Travel Agency in Jaipur. The next few years saw RITCO expanding with three more branches (all IATA approved) at New Delhi, Mumbai and Jalandhar. Initially our services were limited to offering Air Ticketing & Hotel Reservation services to corporate and individual clients. Gradually RITCO conjoined the Transcorp International Ltd. and expanded its gamut of services encompassing Money changing, Money Transfer & Car Rental. A One Stop Shop for all thinkable travel requirements.

RITCO TOURS is a fully Independent division of "Transcorp International Limited”. Transcorp is a publicly listed (On Bombay Stock Exchange) leading business enterprise, having diversified business interests in Money Exchange, Money Transfer, Travel & Tours, Insurance and Investment. MONEY CHANGING

"Transcorp International Ltd" is one of the first few in the private sector, to be given Money Changing license by Reserve Bank of India. It started its operation in 1993, with 06 branches and today has 35 RBI approved offices, 25 Nodal offices and about 1000 strong franchise network across India.

Transcorp purchases and sells all types of foreign currency notes and travellers cheques (TCs). It stocks Travelers Cheques of AMEX and Travelex. Transcorp also provides Forex broking services through its business associate SCD financial services.

MONEY TRANSFER

Transcorp also ranks among the first five master Franchisees of Western union in India handling an inward remittance over USD100 million.
