Kathmandu Valley : Nepal's capital city of Kathmandu offers many
attractions to tourists. Tourists can visit Durbar Square, royal residential
quarter of Bhupendra Malla, temple of Nytapole in pagoda style and other
temples of the place. The 2500 years old Bodhnath Stupa, a holy place for
Tibetan Buddhists is also located here. The world famous Pashupatinath
temple is also thronged by a large number of devotees. In the Kathmandu
valley is Gaida Wild Life Camp which is the natural habitat of the Asiatic
tiger & leopard. Dhulikhel is a small township in the valley which is at
an altitude of 6000 ft. and offers superb views of Cho Oyu in the east to
Himalchuli in the west. Patan: Patan is a fabulous holiday destination near
Kathmandu famous for beautiful alpine scenery to the magnificent Himalayan
panorama. The peaks that can be closely seen from the place are Gaurishanker
(7,134m.), Choba Bhamre (6,109 m), Manaslu (8,163 m), Himalchuli (7, 893m)
and Annapurna ( 8,091m).
» Pokhara Valley : The Pokhara Valley is one of the
most picturesque spots of Nepal. The valley has lovely lakes of Phewa,
Begnas and Rupa. Situated at an altitude of 827 meters above the sea level,
Pokhara offers magnificent views of Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machhapuchhre and
the five peaks of Annapurna .

Lumbini : Lumbini is the birth place of Lord Buddha. It is situated 250
kms south-west of Kathmandu. The items still preserved in Lumbini are the
broken Ashokan Pillar, remnants of old monastery and images of Buddhas
mother Maya Devi. Lumbini has become a pilgrimage destination for Buddhists.
» Panauti : Panauti is a place that has many lovely
temples and old structures. Some of the structures of the place belong to
the medieval period. The drive to Panauti is through beautiful countryside.
» Namo Buddha : Namo Buddha is visited by Buddhists
in large numbers. There is an ancient stone slab and a stupa here which are
considered very sacred by followers of the religion.
